Audley End

During the Easter half term, we all went to Audley End House to ride the train and walk along the trails in their beautiful gardens. The gardens were Easter themed (obviously), with bunnies and decorated eggs everywhere you looked.

The first photograph I selected from walking through the trails was of some beautiful pink and purple flowers that had started to grow at the base of a tree. I liked this photo because of the bright colours that screamed springtime and Easter. For this photograph, I used a shutter speed of 1/125 seconds, an ISO of 100 and, an aperture of f/5.6.

The second shot that I selected from the shoot has a small scene consisting of 3 trees that had been turned into a cute little hedgehog house. I photographed this little set up because the hedgehogs looked so life like that I had to do a triple take before I realised they were fake. For this photograph, I used a shutter speed of 1/125 seconds, an ISO of 1250 and, an aperture of f/5.6.

The third photograph that I selected from the shoot was of three painted eggs sitting inside of a birds nest. I liked this set up because it uses my favourite colour, pink, and I thought it was so cute. I really like the small detailed painting on the eggs that match the flowers surrounding the nest. For this image, I used a shutter speed of 1/125 seconds, an ISO of 100 and, an aperture of f/4.5.

I had an amazing time at Audley End House and would love to go back there again for a different holiday like Christmas or Halloween.
